The Sustaining Operations group is looking for an individual who wants to work on a business that is growing at a rapid pace. We are a critical part of the hardware development and mass production processes. We ensure successful fulfillment for product launches and sustaining support. As Sr. Operations Program Manager you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative consumer products. You must have strengths in Ownership, Bias for Action, Delivery Results, and Earn Trust. You must operate at strategic and tactical levels to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
Key job responsibilities
-Deliver results on high complexity projects involving cross functional teams to operationalize Compliance Regulations throughout the supply chain
-Work with stakeholders to define business requirements and product definition
-Contribute to and influence program strategies for compliance, cost, quality, and availability
-Understand current system capabilities and limitations
-Problem solve and explore AI solutions to current processes and systems
-Coordinate with cross functional teams to manage BOM changes through post ramp qualification
-Drive continuous improvement
-Integrate strong analysis and business rationale into sound decision making
-Work with cross functional technical and business teams to support company goals.
-Accelerate component localization initiatives in South Asia
-Enable direct supplier engagement and development
-Strengthen regional supply chain resilience
-Create cost reduction opportunities through local sourcing
-Enhance supplier compliance with global regulations
-Improve supply chain responsiveness to market demands
-Strengthen regional technical capabilities
*This role will require some travel
Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Operations Program Manager, you are the single threaded owner for Operations. You utilize your expertise and influence peers, stakeholders, and leaders to drive program success. You will solve highly complex and ambiguous problems by creating sound strategies and execution plans that enable cross functional team success. You engage and help solve any issue that impacts cost, quality, and delivery to support the production plans. You will utilize AI tools to drive efficiency towards high velocity decision making.
About the team
The Global Operations Devices, Services & Systems act as the single-threaded owners of our In-Market product portfolios. We expertly program manage and leverage the broader organization to drive quality, delivery and cost performance of our products. We partner with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain and Factory Operations to launch and deliver products that delight our customers. Our team currently supports the E-readers, Tablets, Echo, Fire TV, and Advanced Products portfolios.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program management or technical project management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical field
Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
Experienced in managing consumer products in mass production (MP) through end of manufacturing (EOM) phases.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a related technical field
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
7+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects, or experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
Experience dealing with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment.
